PUBLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ARTICLES TO BE PUBLISHED

IN THE SECONDARY VOCATIONAL EDUCATION JOURNAL

 

CONTENT REQUIREMENTS

The article should be presented in a coherent and finalised form. It should be relevant, starting with stating the objectives and ending with clearly defined conclusions, application recommendations and evaluation of potential prospects and developments of the issue examined. The title of the article should be brief, clearly reflecting the core of the content.

 

 

FORMAT REQUIREMENTS

1. Article text is to be sent in electronic format, either in DOC or RTF format of the MS Word. The standards for page format are as follows: top and bottom margin set at 2.5 cm, with the left margin set at 3 cm and right margin set at 1.7 cm.

2. Document font: Times New Roman.

3. Font size: 14.

4. Line break: 1.5.

5. Pictures, diagrams, graphs and charts should be included in the text as well as sent separately in graphic format (TIFF or JPEG), with each picture sent as a separate file.

6. The article could include digital photos (min 600 dpi) or pictures, if necessary.

As a rule, the overall volume of one publication varies from 5 to 12 pages.

 

STYLE REQUIREMENTS

In terms of the academic style, the requirements for the article are as follows:

— Article title (5–7 words long) in Russian and English;

— Full name of the author: First Name, Middle Name (or Patronimic) in full, Last Name (in Russian and English);

Full title of the educational (academic, scientific, or other) institution, where the author is employed, including position, contact phone/fax number including area code, e-mail address, and postal address including postal code;

— Article text in Russian, in full accordance with the format requirements above;

— References (bibliography) including only the publications quoted in the article. Reference list format should be in full accordance with the Russian State Standard (GOST R 7.0.12—2011);

— Abstract (up to 450 characters, stating the relevance and the findings of the research and methods employed) in Russian and English;

— Keywords (5–6) in Russian and English;

— Peer Review (sent in a separate file) for the article provided by a Ph.D. or a Doctorate degree holder who is competent in the relevant area. The review should reflect on relevance and depth of the research, originality and methodological value, overall structure and coherence, concluding with recommendations for publication.
